[Relaxing Music: "Seeing Triple" by Martin Budde] [RA Joie Darminio:] Hi everyone, RA Joie here, I just want to talk to you guys about some of the amenities we have in our Cornish Commons building. More specifically, our second floor! We have four studios located here, two of which are equipped with mirrors and a sound system. These studios also have barres in them if you're looking to get a little extra ballet in. The other two do not have these features, but are still big and open. All four of these rooms are perfect for rehearsals, classwork, or even just an improv sesh. These rooms are mostly used by the dance and theater majors but are also open to anyone who wants to use them. On our second floor, we also have a conference room with a large table and chairs. In this room is a TV with an HDMI Cable, which would be perfect for watching movies with friends. All of these rooms can be reserved for use. Also located on these floors are bathrooms, along with commuter showers and lockers to store your stuff. [In a residential room, RA Jewels Romero:] Welcome to our standard double room! So over here we have the restroom. We have the sink, which is really nice, to be able to have one person in there and the other able to do what they need here. We have our two closets for each resident. We have the beds! We also have... Each student also gets their own desk. There's a lot of storage too: we have the dressers, and what's really nice about the dressers is that they can be stacked up or unstacked. We also have more storage with this drawer, which can also be used for seating and just multi-purpose. Each standard room has a MicroFridge (and microwave), and what's really nice about that, is that you can go over to Nellie's Cafe, get a frozen item or a meal prep item, then store it here and and microwave it later. [On the 20th floor now:] This is the 20th floor! We have one art studio and three practice rooms on this floor. What's really cool about the art studio is how spacious it is. There's a lot of room to work on larger projects, and also, just personally I enjoy painting up here, because it's so easy to clean up with such a good sink and everything. Right next to the art studio, we have two of our three practice rooms on the 20th floor. Each one of them has a piano in it. It's really nice to get in here and practice your lines, an instrument, and to just collaborate with others. [RA Tre on the 10th floor] My name is Tre Suber! I am a junior here at Cornish. I'm an Interior Architecture major and I'm going to show you our 20th floor communal space. So, here we have an open seating area. A lot of people like to study here. We also have events here sometimes as well. And now I'm going to take you over into our kitchen area over here. This is our communal kitchen space, open for all of our residents to cook. We also have a refrigerator as well, for our commuity! And back over here, we kind of flow into our open multi-purpose space. We have games, as you can see, we have shuffleboard, we have a pool table, so we throw a lot of parties and a lot of things like that up here as well!
